TEENS BEGIN

My heart had then clearly pounced,
When your mom second time announced.
That a younger one happens to be due,
And she at once acquired new hue.

She floated around and to and fro,
Unlike in case of your elder bro,
There was an air of carefree-ness,
The fun was more and caution less.

The doc too was not very far,
We too didn’t have “that” Ambassador car.
So Mom and I just took a walk,
The east was crimson, west bit dark.

The doc said that you were yet to wake up,
So I went back for my morning cup.
And also to bring your waiting bro,
Who thought you to be a Class-A pro.

With whom he would play at the crack of dawn,
Right there and then in the home front-lawn.
When we made it to the hospital gate,
The nurse told us of being bit late.

For you had decided to just rev up,
When I was at my morning cup.
And you gave us such a big surprise
For, you looked as bright as the early “Son-rise”.

May God bless you my dear young one,
For being such a cute and cuddly son.
May all the world’s happiness always be yours,
May all the fun come to you from……….
……………………………….all the doors.

(For Vaibhav, my young one of thirteen today)
