SLEEPLESS NIGHTS!

It is an experience to share

though I were not aware !

Many a time you have told me

how you spend nights without sleep!

Not knowing how it would be

without a peaceful sleep as it should be!

Now the moment has come for me

To realise the pain that you are going through -

For I am now awake all night through !

My eyes plead for sleep -

and wish I let my lids to rest !

Has the God given me a chance to feel

the trauma you are going through !

If that is true - don't ever forget there's a soul for you

Always wishing you a peaceful sleep

that will make you rest in peace!

Before our eyelids close forever

and take us into that eternal sleep -

Let my words reach thee -

and tell you how I do understand

your silence speaks more than words

and explains the state you are in !
