Revealed

Over the years I have leisurely painted

A landscape in the recesses of my mind

Diligently filling details newly acquainted

Love making them clear, more refined;

It seems the painting is now finally done

And stands there resting against the wall

But as I prepare to unveil, am strangely undone

Having no clue what image will me befall,

For as it progressed, it blurred and altered

As new emotions merged, figures changed

Many a time my brush shook and faltered

Till I have no clue how it eventually arranged;

So with a strange unease I reach out to reveal

That which my heart must now finally believe
