NEVER TOO LATE

Ah, my sweet pleasure, my lingering pain.

Drops of heaven amidst the pouring rain,

In the deepest sigh, I long for you

Breath and soul, I belong to you.

With you, indeed, my heart lies,

Alas, you did not see past the heart’s disguise.

Lost in silence, yet ever true,

Is love’s red rose, my love for you.

When you look upon me,

‘Tis only the eyes of a caring friend I see,

Forgotten by both heart and mind,

Despair, oh hopeless fate will find.

So blissful, yet so unaware,

My bitter love, my longing fair

Ah, ‘tis you, I still await

For your love shall never come too late.
