MOM'S WOES Mom
often cries and whines:
How
different your life from mine!
I loved
to hop, skip and jump,
But you- idling on
the sofa, always in a slump
I
pedaled away sweating all the way to school,
You
think getting dropped in AC comfort, is rather cool
How I
enjoyed, homemade potatoes & peas
But you like only fatty
pizzas topped with cheese
So tasty, so delicious, was coconut water, sugarcane &
limejuice,
Pepsi, Cola, Miranda, Limca, is what you choose
Hobbies like painting, stitching, embroidery were my delight,
Sony, Star plus, Zee TV enough to ruin your eye sight
Carrom, Ludo, Chess were my attractions,
Videogames, Internet causes so many distractions
Lost I was in my world of books,
Nothing interests you, more than models and their looks
A
single dress for trip, tour, party or
fair,
Wardrobes
overflowing, can’t you decide what to wear?
My Mom, never found it so tough, to bring me
up,
can you say the
same, when you too are a grown up?
