The Son And Stars Wishing You

THE SON AND THE STARS WISHING YOU....

It is only in the twilight hours
that one can appreciate
the brightness of the sun
as well as the soothing touch
of the soft moonlight
enveloping the world.
As I look into the eyes of the Sun,
I find reflections
of warmth of your affection
scattered all around me,
the radiance of your intellect
enlightening my path to success,
and when I consider
the steadfastness of the Sun,
I can well understand
the genesis of values,
which have stood by me
well at all times,
and which I owe
to the steadfastness of your character.

As the Sun moves on to welcome the moon
, I can well understand
the emotions he would be feeling,
because I have so often felt
the same emotions...
as your son
moving out to welcome another world...

....And when you look
into the eyes of the sun and the moon ,
and find the stars twinkling,
and if you can feel the joy
you felt on your children rendering..
Twinkle Twinkle little star..
for the first time,
you'll find the same joy
flooding back to you,
when you realize that
though today
they are trying to reach the stars..
.they still love you,.respect you,
and as you celebrate
the Golden Jubilee
of your anniversary
in the twilight of your life,
we wish you
all of the bright luminescent sky
bejeweled with chain of stars,
gift wrapping your dreams,
and the Angels
holding it in their hands
and the Fairies
singing around in the backdrop...

Well, this had been our dream
and it is this dream
we wish to present to you
on your G olden Jubilee.
We might not have spent
lot of money on this Gift ,
but it has a lot of emotions,
thoughts, nostalgia
wrapped up in the packing,
and if you feel
it is a dream away from reality,
toss it at the stars,
and when they twinkle
and smile at me.
I shall know
that you too have smiled
indulgently at my dream...

And ...I can once again look
in the eyes of the Sun
and feel the warmth,
the radiance,
and the glow,
which keeps me in touch with him,
though separated by thousands of Kms,
just as your thoughts
keep me in touch with you,
though you may be far away..
