MAKE MY DAY

I could see smile
Written in block letters
Across the skies, as
I
Looked up on one of the
Sunday mornings

I looked
Outside my window
And I could feel sunshine
Dancing around the tall trees
Looking for a shade under the trees
And the leaves fell down
With the gentle breeze
Making the ground green

The small flowering plants
Swayed with the breeze,
And as the purple and pink petals
Interspersed with the green leaves
They appeared as velvety carpet

The cute butterflies are flitting around
In a Carnival atmosphere
However there is something amiss

you are not here
why don't you just walk over
flash that brilliant smile of yours
and make my day
