ALCHEMY Dawn breaks...and wipes away Moonlight’s silver sheen And lo, we see the golden Sun Where once the Moon had been
In this show of splendid magic All that’s silver turns to gold The world wakes up, as the Sun Weaves it’s spell of old
A glow of gold it casts upon The red gold leaves of fall And shimmers golden off the backs Of horses grazing tall
A squirrel in its coat of gold Scurries in a flash In it’s grip a golden nut To bury in the thatch
In myriad hues of beaten gold The woken fish now gleam As golden stars shine off the peaks Of waves in endless stream
