A CRY IN WILDERNESS

Unloved, uncared for, yet-joyous, frivolous, spreading light and love,
No dark  thoughts, no dark shades, just purity of thoughts and love,
Absorbed in life's unending chores,
Never a thought went astray or sore,

A cheerful voice, so loving, so caring, so kind,
Touched deep inside the untouched, uncared for
Realms of heart and mind,

Poured down like summer rain,
Soothing the sun baked lips,
And body of the Earth,
The Earth's body, mind, heart and soul,
Drenched and bathed in its coolness,

With drooping eyelids,
Feeling each cool drop,
Deep inside its burning,
Hurt and anguished soul,
Thawing the frozenness of years,

Alas! its departure more sudden than its advent,
Left behind nothing but the scorching heat,
Of a heartless sun,
The parched land much more thirsty,
For that one drop of coolness and love,
Shall it ever be or never be.....???????????....
