UNDYING LOVE

There are so many things on my mind
That I want to tell you
There is so much Love in my heart
That I want to show you
But some things are just not meant to happen
Just as our Love, which ended before it could even begin.

The lengthy letters, the walks on the shore
The senseless talks without thinking what life had in store
All these are still a part of me, the part I cannot let go
Love sparkled in my eyes and I thought you would know.
Yearning to hold each other close and yet not holding hand
The beautiful evenings spent on bandstand*

Once in a while sent greeting card
Inability to forget you even on trying hard
The confusion of the mind not able to decide
The stock of tears I never cried
The unsaid words, packed in my book
The unexpressed Love clearly seen in my look

So many things I wish I could tell you
Undying wish of my heart to selflessly Love you
Even a lengthy letter now
Cannot hold the Love I have for you
So I would keep this in my heart forever
And let it stay there as memories, under cover.
