When do we part in life?

We only change our way;

There are times when we cannot do anything

And words are few to say.

Life is too long to live in one day

And to short to wait for a chance;

We waste our time in fighting and crying

And sometimes even casting an even glance.

So, goodbye dear friend

And all the best for the morrow;

May you always live in eternal joy

And wouldn’t need a smile to borrow.

Face life without fear and shame

And earn yourself a good name;

If you ever need a shoulder to lean

Ask for it:

For I may be needing the same.
