The Male Mind

Has man ever sat and wondered why
The world has peace when his children go off to war and die?
Freedom is true but it is man's reasons that lie.

If we are our brothers keepers then why do we not keep
Our memorials express what lies beneath
It is humanities enlightenment that goes to sleep.

Life is a gift to every man, woman and child
So also time to think and reason for a while.

Since earthly time began
Everything has come from the mind of man.

Man has been the leader of every human endeavor
Woman seldom invited to contribute or almost never
The male gender not different only uses words that are clever.
