The Agony

In the bloom of
spring
And in the drops of rain
She was there with him
Relieving him from all his pains
The world was for them
That part of the fancy tale
Where lived a prince and his princess
Who lived happily ever after.
But reality isn't always happy
Same is with destiny
It didn't agree to their merry
And sowed in this happy life, the seeds of sorrow.
An unexpected betrayal
And the princess slapped the door
And left him all alone in his castle
The one he built with bricks of love
Yesterday's short distances
Now became too long
But the heart always remained optimistic
One day again they'll walk along
Still the rains fall
Still the gardens bloom
But his eyes can't see any
For they overflow with gloom
The heart cried, tears of despondency
The body ached, the weight of loneliness
The mind pained, her thoughts, her memory
And the throat parched, thirst for love
The flame of agony, continues to burn within
Emotions charred, it's all a din
The untimely unwonted separation
Drove this guy to what others called an "Asylum"
