Self Acknowledgment

Historical man has sat and rarely questioned why
He only searched for peace when his sons went off to die
Freedom is true and right but it is man's reasons that lie.

If we are our brothers keepers why do we not keep?
Our memorials do not express what lies beneath
It is humanities enlightenment that has been put to sleep.

It has and is by the will and thoughts of predominately male men
The children of humanity struggle to find their time of when
The mind of men seem to be stuck inside the time of then.

Human life is a gift to become a being of thought regardless of gender
So also time to think; reason; and have purpose; or don't we remember?
Cruelty, anger, and violence, are integrals of man's latent agenda.

Since earthly time produced human life is when it all began
There is little denial that almost everything has come from the mind of man
Yet it was the female; God selected to bring forth earth's future plan.

Man was to provide, protect, and insure, the family had a home
Women to carry, deliver and nurture; and leave not the children alone
The effort of both is to insure their children do not roam.

The male has been the leader of most human endeavor
Women seldom invited to contribute or almost never
The male gender mind is not radically different; it is only more clever.
