I scatter petals into your new
grave
then followed by our family and friends. We murmur words the living comprehends then blow you tearful kisses, wave a wave. The wreaths in piles with hues which rant and rave the graveyard; rite of dignity it lends. You'd be without the air, asleep transcends in resting tomb forever closed. Be brave!
As dormant day retreats with fading light , dry petals dance atop the unswept stone as summer's green becomes pale winter's white through many sunsets, ashes of time moan we'll feel the sorrow of your vanished sight. Farewell mama, we'll miss you till life's done! ~Agatha Lai~ In loving memory of my mother who passed away on 28th May, 2004, sadly missed by the family and me.
