A
Night of White Satin White
satin That
revealed itself Only
on touch; Deceptively
prim To
behold, yet on the first Fleeting
caress on bare skin Oozing
a cold burn that blazed Daring
me To
bare As
never did before Even
in the secret darkness Of
my bridal chambers; Never
before had been lured Thus,
to reveal and revel Alone
in the soft Filtering
light And
the soft intermittent chiming Of
the tower clock, in a land Unknown,
yet newly embraced Along
with the drunkenness of A
newfound peace I
undressed for none Not
even one But
only for myself, to lay On
those bridal sheets To
be enfolded and be gently lulled Into
a tenderness, making Molten
eyes melt…
