Across my mind
Like clouds in a clear
blue sky some small
some big.. unsure of the
shape they take...
Messengers of impending rain
that winds shall help sweep
across my canvas of life
Washing away - cleaning the
debris of the forlorn past
Dull clouds cast a shadow
on half the mountain just
as do your memories
on half of me....
They wont stay here
too long - just like you
Resting in the sky
Almost at standstill
Yet I know there's immense
turbulence deep within -
A rumble that shall remain
Till its time to move on to
a new path in the sky to
kiss a sandy shore
who knows where
Mother Earth parched
not unlike me, awaits
your downpour of love
The boat marooned on a
dry lake waiting for your
gracious advent so that
its sails can catch the
winds and carry me to a
journey of an unknown land
An unsure rejuvenation
I seek, but like the Earth
can't wait for seasons,
rains or winds...to
orbit around the sun
I have no time to lose
there's very limited time
to seek your hand.
