Beautiful Keys you treated me swell
I came as a visitor and found it was God's well
Your sunrise and sunset are stationary yet each a 
different scene
Each one colorful, brilliant and exceptional, for the 
earthly dream.

True color of water from two oceans melding into one
So much to take in along with the beauty of the sun
I can never say good-by even when I am gone
My eyes, imagination and memory to produce your song.

I thank you for what is eternal and allowing me to be
Truly you are the beginning and the end for me
Under the water life grows upon life to build the coral walls
While above the single mangrove trees build the island tall.

This all takes eons of time to begin and end
Gods time is freely given and never to lend
The sky is endless as far as the eye can see
I can turn around and this time it is looking at me.

You have gifts that are special and held in reserve
Though I am not worthy I thank you for what I deserve
Cudjoe Key you are special and when I search to find
I will be able to see you again, by parting the curtain in 
my mind.
