You are the one
Who has seen your dreams
through our eyes
who dreamt  of us flying through
high skies

whose laughter
reverberated with the
echoes of joy
and who could understand
our silent sighs...

and now that you are
away from us
musing
in the twilight of your life
if you would only
close your eyes
you would see our little hands
holding on to you
