COSMIC LOVE AFFAIR The earth revolves around the sun While earthlings hold, as number one, Their tribute to the stars and sky But seldom ask themselves just why Such a cosmic love affair, That only God could hardly bear, Might exist to serve our kind But dare not think it, God’s design. We live our lives in soulful passion And sometimes in a mortal fashion Exhort that God does not exist But within our hearts the truth persist That we should finally recognize That only God could dare devise Such as we and earth and sky And little else matters why. ~Robert E Browne~
