LOVE STORY

While walking down the streets of town
There, in the crowd, my eyes do see
A face so bright, with eyes like gold
Who is this lady, one I must meet

She walks away with head held high
Knowing not what she has done to me
I call out for her, run to meet her
But she has gone, footprints are all that I can see

But our eyes have crossed, the messages sent
That I have never met one with eyes so deep
I'm looking for her, she's wondering bout me
Where is she now, where will she be

Its party time, I've gone to dance
I catch her eye, she catches mine
No word spoken, no recognition
She walks towards me, taking her time

In front of me, she stops and looks
Right in my face, she quietly questions why
That I like her amongst so many
What can I say, it's all in her eyes

We open the doors, and walk away
With hand in hand, love in her eyes
She tells me just where the hell was I
I've melted her heart, now look what I've done

There starts a new phase in our lonely lives
Two bodies, but with one mind
If loves to come, it'll come anyway
True love does come, when its the right time

I'll look in your eyes, wish the world away
will die in the arms of my chosen mate
that's what I'll do, freeze this lovely time
swim in her love before it's too late

For a day will come when I have to go
Leaving all behind, but memories
Love does not die.....it's ever alive
If not this world, the next shall it be

With bodies burned or buried in earth
Our lamp of love will always be
In not just this world, but the worlds beyond
Shining so bright, for lovers to see

Another birth in another time, you will be born & so will I
With feelings strong and known destiny
Our eyes will meet and the world shall see
The continuation of an old love story
