A spring of emotion

Flows from my heart

Pools of happiness

Reside in my soul

This reservoir of feelings

Is fed by the river

Of my thoughts for you

And it refreshes my spirit

One drink from this water

Can not possibly quench

My thirst for your affection

I must be showered by it

Yet this water lies

In the well of your love

And only patience
Will draw it up.
