Beyond the lines in the sand

I walk in the deserts
oblivious to  the blazing sun
scorching every living cell
zapping the energy within
mind numbed to every alert
of pain  hunger and thirst
with not a cry of despair

I tread on, in the expanse
of the endles sand
with a determined mind
to reach the oasis
waiting for me
only to find
its beyond the lines
in the sand....
and now im searching
fervently for the lines
in the sand!!
