African Violets!

 You are more than just a potted plant on my table
you make me happy when I see you bloom

Your flowers and those lovely green leaves
they have always  lifted me out of my gloom

You listen to my tales of happiness and sorrow
you are always there to cheer up my tomorrow

You are cheerful and bright and always there
you never fail to show me that you care

You've become more than a  friend to me
I know that there's more to you ,  than I can see

I wish you were able to talk sometimes
Coz' I know you are much  more,  than I can see !
