There's a chill in the air
Can you feel it?
It pervades all around.

Can you see it?
Its held in the deep shadows within my eyes.

Can you hear it?
The stark wind rustling those withered leaves.

There's a chill in the air
Can you smell it?
Those burnt embers of a dying heart.

There's a chill in the air
Can you taste it?
Its flavour salted with my tears.

There's a chill in the air
Can you touch it?
This hard cold stone wall surrounding my heart.

There's a chill in the air
Can you feel it?

It blew in the day you left.
