Sometimes I wonder,
Just what lies beneath the vast ocean,
That holds deep mysteries and dark secrets,
And whether the sky is the limit,
Or whether there is an unknown world beyond it ...

Sometimes I wonder,
Whether the grass is really greener on the other side of the world,
And if it is, why is it so?
Or is there really a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow,
Just sitting there quietly to be discovered ...

Sometimes I wonder,
Why innocent people are hard to find and rare,
But people with evil thoughts lurk everywhere,
When will the imbalance be balanced?

Sometimes I wonder,
Why do I wonder about such unanswerable things,
When others are hot on the heels of materialism,
Will I ever get my answers?

Sometimes I wonder,
Why should I be like the others?
When I have thoughts of my own,
A life of my own ...

Sometimes I wonder,
If there is anyone out there,
Who would hold my hand,
And bear with my thoughts,
And be by my side,
As I wonder and wonder ...
