Life In A Desert
I wander through sand Storms that rage against my eye The burning sun relentless It seems to others I would die
But I move on in the hope And look out for Life’s Elixir Keeping the faith in me alive Of finding the oasis of water
But what I see around me Camels and Cacti What and how they survive Is really beyond me
The desert does not affect me As I am one with the one I know I can survive Even if everything else were gone.
