...I try bravely recognize

...I faintly hear the soft sound

I dimly see dawn regret

wanting to spare me any pain

worried that the warmth may turn to heat

and I still try smile

...your heart I hear, see and feel

so honour your dilemma

and try make it easy for you to recede...

But The Same Evening...

...you call, wanting to share

wanting to see if I am well

in your unspoken way, my fears quell

...learn I anew, there are no lines

no boundaries from which

you or I need ever to retreat

...I once again embrace my world

where only your thoughts can ever reside

and continue to survive...
