FACT OF
LIFE
Staring out the starry night sky,
Looking far out yonder
I have often wondered why
The world turns around one way instead of the other
Many
questions race in my mind
Of the confusing ambiguity of existence
How people could be of different kinds
Yet all longing for acceptance
Often
we see the rich and powerful
Arrogant, undaunted and unafraid
Enjoying a life that’s most wonderful
Possessions and immorality never seem to fade
Whilst the kind and caring majority
Slog to get through everyday
Although survival their main priority
They seem much more contented and gay
So as
one can see from brief observation
As long as we serve our hearts conscience
Power and riches are pale in comparison
Satisfaction with oneself is the hearts greatest of all passions
