Eternity Moment

The sweet murmurings

like silver bells from heaven,

The sounds reverberating, echoing,

The nightingale like a pidgin

The carrier of nostalgic moments...

A meeting of thoughts

touched by the seat

of all emotions -

A simple moment turned to eternity -

With voices knocking at my heart -

I close my eyes and muse,

Was it not a most enriching experience?

A sharing - of sorts

A sharing - of thoughts

Ne'er for a moment

Did I falter to bare

my innermost layer -

Not the dermis, nor the epidermis

but deep within the womb

You touched me....

Where none had dared

Neither had I craved, nor had I cared

But you touched me....

Like a lid to the eye

Breeze to the clouds

Petals to the dew

A wisp of hair to the cheeks

And now I care....

For the silver bells

still tingle in the air.

Not a moment quiet

Not a thought free

For now a pregnant silence

pervades me...

A part of me you will always be

Like a simple moment turned to eternity.
