Drowning
Tell me what I should do: How can I learn to swim And stay adrift, surviving In this tempestuous ocean Of anguish that dashes me about Lashed about like a rag doll Floundering in the tidal upsweeps That repeatedly pull me under And then fling me upwards Gasping, choking for those small Mouthfuls of air…tell me please How should I now stay alive… ~Glowing Embers~
