YOU COME TOO? I am going to walk to the flowers That dance so graceful in the wind I want to feel their magic power And sigh and say , " You are most kind ! "
I am going to run to the river And sit by its shady bank to fish I'll throw back any catch to feed the beaver It is my dearest wish !
I am going to climb the highest mountain A place so high; I can see clear The beautiful sunset ; joy abundant You look for me there?
I am going to run to the seaside There, I'll collect all the lovely shells I'll wash them one by one in the tide And gloat over them , how swell !
I want to drive to the desert, and endure The heat and the sand ; to make me wiser When I come back to civilization , for sure I'll treasure every droplet like a miser .
I am going to run to the forest today In a space-ship made just for two ! To the landscape green ; soon I'll be on my way. |
