World you were so alluring,
Encompassing all diversities,
A loving mother bestowing ,
On its offsprings bounties,
Uncountable blessings piously
Showering fulfilling aspirations
Through all her manifestations,
Mankind suckling hungrily,
An unsatiated hunger,
Gulping waters,
Gobbling vegetations,
Destroying ruthlessly,
Flora and fauna,
Beauty that was,
No more is,
Demon like Her own ,
Left Her breathless,
Aghast facing callousness,
Torturous wringing soul,
Bosom sliced,
Mind benumbed ,
A mother unrobed,
Looted, plundered, raped,
Her so called loved ones,
Partitioned her once strong frame,
Uncountable pieces,
Each piece clinging
Onto a part of Her heart,
Wrenching apart ,
Her once revered body,
Swords of varied Faiths,
Inflicted deep unhealable wounds,
Each worm riddled wound,
Sobs incessantly,
Wrinkled eyes penetratingly,
Hunt for one out of millions,
Her so called teeming offsprings,
Not even one who lovingly places,
Solace on the oozing wounds,
What am I today?
