THOUGHTS OF A DYING PERSON

I have weathered the storms of life
and find myself reaching the final point,
I Spread my arms wide
getting ready for the final exit,
Bid me farewell without a goodbye
In the hope of my breath not failing in the night,
In the succumbing temptation to the failing heartbeat,
I am still not ready to die,
Gathered before me are the friends to see me off
To the destination unknown to you and me
Reserved only for the ultimate closed eyes,
I see a light in the distant ready to take me
Death in life with its arms wide,
It is hazy from the weeping
Death too cry in its rising
In the reality of someone's final falling,
Under the sun where I once played
Are the moments rejuvenated,
Where the body is still
But thoughts have transcended,
I have loved life to the fullest
Now departing without any regret,
I accepted life in fulsome praise,
Now giving it away in grace,
My eyes seem to dart in the vastness
Before merging with the ultimate darkness,
I see myself playing in the sand
In the arms of mother earth
Specks of sand falling from my hand,
The place that was booked even before my birth
where I shall be laid to rest here,
Back in my mothers womb living from dawn to dusk,
As I look at the sky with immense pleasure
A vain clouds pass by,
Like someone who has lost in the drift,
As I pray to the lord
Let my death be in the infinite floating
Like a song in perpetual music,
My friends, don't salute my dead body,
Look at the sky where I have drifted
And I shall be resurrected
In the flight of the bird in wandering
Where I shall never die
Because then I shall be in forever venturing.
