Pristine

I can see the light on the ridge of the cloud
Then it dops back to capture the floating shroud
Even with the density of the cover
The brilliant red dot; appears to welcome its lover.

The black clouds remain rigid without a hole
To block the sun a valiant goal
But the sun persisted and slowly lifted the lid
This fire ball of love; to always give and give.

The sun finally removes the cloudy residue
To give another day of light for me and you
The birds stream from their island of sleep
To continue a daily toil for a harvest to reap.

The earth is bathed by the rays of the sun
Imagine; the creative living love in this singular one
Ii will continue to climb as it always must
Our keeper, our protector, our lover; of the human trust.

Eventually the clouds will all go away
The Commorant on the channel marker as part of my day
The clouds will always deny access to your color of gold
But I will see other creations as the story unfolds.

You will eventually rise and bath this entire nation
Thank you for the gift and those called a human relation
Your sky that is called the color of robin egg blue
That even if I could not see; I would know it truly was you.
