No Longer


Here at Kavitanjali
I post poems that are
no longer gay
no longer sweet
no longer witty
for the world is
no longer sweet
no longer happy
no longer safe
So I'll  post my last year's poems
and hope to  make me
feel happy
feel gay
feel sweet and tender
and hope it'll add
some sweetness
some gaiety
some sanity
to the world outside .
