Light of our world

The creative gift of our earthly sun
Provided by God as our only one.
The circle complete when we see her rise and fall
Giver of light and life; majestic and tall.

All would be naught, desolate and cold
Without her, humanity would have no earthly role.
She shares of herself even when not seen
Illuminator of earth for every human being.

From out of the creator's thought in the beginning
Before even man and his acts of sinning.
The last light we see before we have to go
Our energy for life on earth; with its eternal glow.

A star selected to be the keeper of earthly time
From the love of its creator, universal, one, divine.
A presence of immense circular light
To remove the darkness and what we call night.

As human we are what each will become
Children of the God; as daughter and a son.
Singular words cannot stand alone
But thoughts exist longer than those written on stone.

Why is the wake of a boat always behind?
Questions, answers and reasons; we can find in our mind.
Relativity, gravity and the continuity of man not just found
Inside the mind of the human; who walks on the ground.
