Festival Of Colours

Transition from winter to spring,

Celebrated with such exuberance:

Bonfires, films, celebrations, along

With song, festivities and dance.

It’s Holi, the Festival of Colours,

A celebration of hope and joy,

All take part in this merriment,

Involving each woman, man and boy.

This humble person can only imagine

The day’s activities and display,

With smiles I offer you my wishes

For a blessed and peaceful Holi-day.
