COLOURS

Sending across miles,
Colours of different vibes,
Imbibing joyous tickles,
Blue, green, red trickles,

Clad in pious whites,
Carrying colours bright,
Fair Radhas hide,
Lest the govindas strike,

Drum beats go wild,
Coloured revelers bright,
Bhaang tumblers strike,
Lo! the govindas arrive,

Songs dances gaiety galore,
Hidden  hearts they truly floor,
Intoxicating sounds and sights abound,
magnetically pull the maidens out,

Lovely sights of virgin veils,
Enthuse bands to true regales,
Coloured dusty clouds of paints,
Tankers showering artificial rains,

The old ,young ,teen and toddler,
Unwind in dances of gay abandon,
Colours of oneness paint all so bright,
Kins, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Sikhs alike,

Eyes hold onto these rare sights,
Encage them in your safe archives,
Such unity riddled joyous jives,
Oh, peace descending heavens arrive!

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY HOLI
