I was tired that day,
I closed my eyes to take some rest
Knew not when I slept.
I saw myself treading towards a big gate
Beautiful it was, as beautiful as loving heart!
I looked around,
Saw roses everywhere…
As I walked a few more steps,
The door opened and I got in
An unknowing feeling arising within
As I walked a few more steps
I was thrilled by what I saw…
There you were sitting in one corner,
Watching the roses around you.
You got up as you saw me coming
You looked at me as if you knew I was coming
I ran towards you, expecting you to hold me in your arms
But you withdrew them back
You had tears in your eyes, you said I must forget
Forget everything I held so tightly close to my heart
For you thought I had my own life to live
There was someone else knocking on my heart…
And unknowingly I liked him, I had to believe!
I opened my eyes and saw around
There were roses on my bed
Same as I had seen in my dream
I turned my eyes towards the door
A shadow was staring at me …
I got up from the bed and walked towards it
I saw the man I loved,
I went in his arms…
And he held me tightly close to his heart
And I knew, you were right…
I had to forget you
And all that I held tightly close to my heart!
