RAIN IN MUMBAI

It rains blood over Mumbai

Splattering over those rails

Mingling with twisted metal

And those innocent wails

It rains gore over Mumbai

Strewing limbs once revered

Those hands that caressed

Now lie in debris severed

It flows, that blood rain

From those horror filled eyes

An old mother sits mumbling

Where her dead son lies

Screams pour over Mumbai

As loved ones watch in despair

Wasn’t it time for dinner together

Then how can they funerals prepare?

“Why?” plead those widows

Those children now orphaned

Can there ever be a reply

For such gruesomeness churned?

It also rains demons in Mumbai

An apocalypse cruelly unleashed

It was a simple day my friends

Shattering life as it finished
