MOTHER'S MAGIC TOUCH

 Mother,

You’re the magical fairy in a secret garden

With your potent wand, you’re a reliable guardian

You hold answers to all pressures and burdens

Mortals can only stare in amazement

Mother,

You’re a stunning Florence

Nightingale in a raucous land

You defy life’s fall by holding out your hand

Never a trip could skip your eye

You never sigh, I wonder how, I wonder why

Mother,

You’re the enchanting angel in paradise

Ever so kind and ever so wise

In a realm of lies and vice

You’re the light of truth from a newborn’s eyes

Mother, mythical, magical

Dazzling, stunning, enchanting

Divine, a child’s lifeline

Precious, precious, mother of mine.
