WHEN I CLOSE MY EYES

When I close my eyes
and clear my mind
I can almost see you there !

Over the stove at the kitchen
or with a sheet in the bedroom
I can see you just everywhere !

You're there when I'm sick
Bottle of balm in your hands
you're there when I'm hungry too


When I'm lost with my work
you keep watch of my health
never taking off to rest yourself

It's such a familiar sight
to see you moving about
that sometimes I miss you so much

But I'm glad that I can
by just closing my eyes
see you just as clearly as if you're here !

Oh girl dear girl
you've been part of me
as I've been part of you for ever !
