UNHAPPINESS ?

Unhappy marriages
Unrequited love
Despair everywhere
And no God above

Many hearts fluttering
Like birds in a cage
Some hardly beating
Some filled with rage

These hearts are not dead
Yet all trapped and hounded
Feeding on the pain they feel
By invisible threads bounded

If there's so much misery
And every heart is suffering
Is life really worth living
Or are they simply cribbing?
