Its not just the pen
 meeting paper,
it's not just when words
 are put to together !

Poetry  happens when
 your  heart sings out  ,
When emotions are felt and
you write what it is all about !

Poems are of yesterday,
today,  or tomorrow
Poems are  of romance ,
 happiness, pain or sorrow !

Poetry is an  expression
of what people experience
poetry is the  feelings
of people , but in words !

Poetry  is the fabric
that's woven so fine
of words and thoughts that
 makes  them sound  divine !

Poetry is not just poetry
its the essence of people's lives !
of their highs and their lows
in poetry it flows
