FANTASIES

The screams of a shattered heart
A tender soul tired of living
Waiting for the end to come
To engulf the essence of life
 Like mother's lap, so warm

A smile kisses the parched lips
 Thinking of bliss
 Where fantasia awaits me
 No more nightmares of separation
 No more of tortured soul

  An eternal sleep
 As dark as the night
 The lulling silence
 The calmness, the serenity
 Death comes on tiptoes

  I the traveller
 Trodding the endless path
Am tired , and wanting some rest
 Death approaches ....
And beckons me to take a break

When I reach this oasis in desert
I shed the dirty cloths of breath
Diving deep in the purifying waters
 I emerge sometime later
To continue the journey to unknown
