A PEEP IN MY HEART

What is it that lies deep in my heart?
What is it that I wish to ponder on, right from the start?
To know the secret that lies deep within
I took a walk along the riverbank
And peeped in my heart!

There lied all sorts of feelings
Some agony, some joy and some blessings
I walked across them to reach the glowing part of the heart
That's where my love lied, my heart's valuable part!
I surpassed that part too,
To reach a place where I had never been
A place so small to be ever seen…                               
It was where stayed my self-confidence
Unaware of it's own presence.
I stayed there for some time…
And wondered why it lay there, still like a dead body
As if it was nobody!

May be a little too suppressed it was,
With a huge feeling of guilt and incompleteness…
I was on my toes again,
To come out from the deep,
How could I leave it there alone to succumb to the guilt?
As I came out I brought it along with me.
