They
said, "Tell us what poetry means to you!"
This set me thinking... what does poetry actually mean to me?
I concluded - it's not just playing with words...
I realized - it's describing the deepest feelings of the heart
I confessed - Its my life's most valuable part!
Poetry, for a poet is a treasure ...
Its a companion in times of sorrow and pleasure!
Its like a true friend always together
Always ready to express joy, pain, guilt, anger, love or whatever!
For me - poetry is just not way of expressing...
Its God's valuable gift!
Its what helps me to fight sorrow
And gives me a lift when I am down with it.
Its like my lifetime friend -
With me always and not only on weekend.
Had it not been for poetry,
My life would have been incomplete
And the world would have been laughing over my defeat
Because without it I would have been a loser
Very nervous to go ahead in life,
Easy to succumb to slightest pressure!
Poetry - its the way I live
And its for what I live
