MAN'S RELIGIOUS WAYS

Man's altars for war, blood and the sacrificial lamb
Who said what to whom about; "I am the God of I am"
In mankind's history, who has the Ego; woman or man?

Why would a God creator sacrifice one of its own
Was not the harvest of earth given to us as our home?
Man always spread his seed whenever he roamed.

The Gods of man usually favored one over another
Is not the most favored human on earth "a loving mother?"
The blessed deliverer of every sister and brother.

We continue to receive, consume and say, "what's the use"
By silence our leaders allow children to suffer death and abuse
Too many leaders refuse to lead or else suffer obtuse.

All problems, past, present and to come
The result of man's ego that only they are number one
Forgetting the mother who has delivered every male son.

It is not difficult to find answers to your questions of why
Life is to try to do good, avoid evil, and finally die
Anything beyond that probably not worth the try.

It is not just reason and purpose of life we should know
But in order to understand the seeds we must begin to sow
There are times of harvest, to plant and a time to grow.

When each of us finally leave a family nest
To chose for ourselves as to what is best
Remember life is inclusive and everyone is an invited guest.
