Falling in Love

Oh dear, I have
fallen in love she says
And anguished am
I, forlorn preface
The world seems
so empty, lifeless and alone
When he is not
there for me to constantly behold
I yearn to
embrace and hear him speak
Syllables of
eternal love no sooner than we meet
I cry tears of
torment, gasping for some air
Lamenting those
lonely moments most unfair
Her eyes look
hollowed with swirling pain
Her cheeks gaunt
and gray with a numbing ache
Hair awry, she
seeks him in all that’s around
Half crazed with
yearning at every little sound
But I, have
risen in love I softly to her said
No benumbing
pain does assail with dread
The world does
look most wondrous and bright
With beauty
supreme in everything I sight
No ache or
torment alters my contented soul
I find a smile
forever hovering at my door
His presence
wrapped so strong around me I find
That missing him
never ever comes to mind
Complete within
my self I feel now for once
Prepared if
togetherness tomorrow never comes
Just that
intangible brush with his soul has fulfilled
Every single
desire that has in me ever lived
